Imagine Virtually Anything –

What about a Virtual Data Center?

Sound familiar? Many data center architectures are still built around silos of servers and storage systems, requiring multiple provisioning toolsets, data management processes, and different teams to manage the pieces. In addition, massive data growth combined with power, cooling, and space limitations is exerting extreme pressure on IT responsiveness.

“When,” not “whether” - It isn’t about “whether” you’re going to virtualize and transform your data center; it’s about “when” and “how.” Fortunately you don’t have to wait. By using the combined strength of CWPS partners - Cisco, NetApp, and VMware – you can deploy a virtualized dynamic data center from the industry leaders in server, storage, and network virtualization.

Data Center to Desktop - Get the results you need to help maintain your competitive edge with an integrated, end-to-end solution like the virtualized data centers deployed around the DC region and the world.

What’s driving this transition? Take a close look at the typical gains:

CWPS extends helping hand to
Global Human Rights Agency

International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that aids victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression from its offices in 12 countries.

IJM had been subscribed to a hosted VoIP solution, but felt constrained by the inability of the service provider to deliver the features it needed. Feeling hemmed in, IJM called CWPS.

CWPS installed a Cisco system at IJM’s Arlington, VA office − the Unified Communications Manager Business Edition with Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST).

CWPS protected IJM’s investment in 120 IP phones and Cisco switches by homing them to the new premises UC system.  The SRST capability provides backup services so IP phones can fall back to a remote site’s switch if connectivity to Arlington is lost. SA-Announce software sends text and audio alerts to the IP phones, enabling staff to respond faster to local emergencies. Now IJM can better respond when victims need assistance. IJM also signed up for CWPS EncorePro – 24 x 7 proactive system monitoring and tech support – to get peace of mind.

“The common perception that hosted VoIP solutions provide everything you need at less cost did not prove to be the case for IJM,” said John Lax, CIO of the International Justice Mission. “In fact, we found the hosted solution very limiting. Fortunately, CWPS showed us a better way.”

Get to know the affordable & powerful
Cisco UCS Series C Rack Mount Servers

Cisco UCS C-Series servers not only conserve space in crowded data centers, they provide advantages that enable your business to operate more efficiently and at less cost by …

- Unifying heterogeneous data centers

- Enabling virtualization

- Maximizing computing power

- Extending memory

- Simplifying management

Each model in the series is designed to address varying workload challenges through a balance of processing, memory, I/O, and internal storage resources. The series includes the following models:

- UCS C460 M1 is a 4-socket, 4-rack unit (RU) rack-mount server for compute-intensive, enterprise-critical stand-alone applications and virtualized workloads.

- UCS C250 M1 and UCS C250 M2 are 2-socket, 2-RU servers with Cisco Extended Memory Technology that increase performance and capacity for demanding virtualization and large dataset workloads.

- UCS C210 M1 and UCS C210 M2 are general purpose, 2-socket, 2-RU servers with up to 16 internal disk drives for up to 8 TB of storage. They balance performance, density, and efficiency for workloads requiring economical, high-capacity, reliable, internal storage.

- UCS C200 M1 and UCS C200 M2 are 2-socket, 1- RU servers that balance simplicity, performance, and density for production-level virtualization, web infrastructure, and other mainstream data center workloads.
