CWPS engineered and installed an IP voice network equipped with redundant power supplies, disk space, and ports to withstand any failure. In coordination with other service providers and local vendors, CWPS program managers ensured that every aspect of the implementation went smoothly.

In addition to configuring IP Phones for the desktop, CWPS equipped notebook computers with softphones to permit mobile staff to access the secure corporate VPN and make calls from any location. At corporate headquarters, Worldspace staff has increased mobility with the addition of a wireless LAN capability for their notebooks. They also have the convenience of “one-click-dialing” from their PC contact lists.
