Since the storm no longer poses a threat, this will be the conclusion of the event related updates. Although there is still a flooding threat in NC, we do not expect any impacts to the NC data center. However, we will continue monitoring any updates from the site and update this site accordingly should it become necessary.

VA – Site Staff reports that Tropical Depression Florence no longer poses a threat to the data centers in the DC Metro Area. All data centers in the DC Metro Area remained stable throughout the duration of this event. This concludes our updates to this data center status notification. 

NC - As previously communicated, a power event had occurred in the data center, which interrupted the utility power supply to the facility. Utility power has been restored, and the generators have been powered down as the facility has switched back to utility power. We will continue to closely monitor the environment and will notify affected customers of any further issues or changes.

NC -As previously mentioned a power event has occurred in the datacenter, which has interrupted the utility power supply to the facility. The local area continues to see brief interruptions to utility power but remains on generator. As a precautionary step, Local Operations locked all critical load on generator until further notice. There is not any customer impact, nor is customer impact expected

NC - The datacenter continues to experience brief interruptions to utility power and remains on generator.  Although utility power is available, the Site Ops team has proactively locked the datacenter onto generator power as a precaution until utility power stabilizes and storm conditions improve.  All systems are operating normally and the next update will be provided once the datacenter has been returned to utility power.

NC - The datacenter continues to experience brief interruptions to utility power and remains on generator.  Although utility power is available, the Site Ops team has proactively locked the datacenter onto generator power as a precaution until utility power stabilizes and storm conditions improve.  All systems are operating normally and the next update will be provided once the datacenter has been returned to utility power.

NC - At Approximately 9:35 ET, the data center experienced a momentary loss of utility power. The local operations team has confirmed that the facility has successfully transferred to generator power and that all systems are functioning normally.  Utility has been restored at this time; however, facility will remain on generator for 30 minutes to ensure clean power has been restored.  Local Operations will continue to monitor all systems.  At this time, no customer impact is expected.  The next update will be sent after facility has returned to normal power source.

VA - Site Operations personnel have taken precautionary measures to guard against interruption of customer services due to Hurricane Florence. Current status has been provided below. Specific Incident Notifications will be sent if, and when, additional incidents arise in accordance with our standard and customary processes.

Status

- The generators have been tested, fuel tanks are full, levels verified.

- Special arrangements have been made to make sure staff is available on site as necessary to maintain operability standards.

- We will secure hotel rooms near the sites, and have cots, MREs, and other emergency supplies on site should the situation become extreme.

NC - We maintain a high level of readiness at all times to ensure that the operations of our facility, as well as our customers, are not impacted. Due to this level of preparedness, no special considerations are required when the threat of weather presents itself. All regional facilities have confirmed that infrastructure is in good working order and that all fuel tanks are at capacity.  Additionally, all sites will remain staffed and ready to assist you throughout this event.
